What is Rowers Choice Academy solving?
Recruiting is a complicated process that is constantly changing. Between mens and womens programs there are around 230 different programs at various colleges and universities, each has its own requirements and rules.
High School coaches don’t always have the time and expertise to help out their athletes when it comes to this process. The Rowers Choice Academy will help to lead these athletes and assist them and their families with understanding the process and rules so they can navigate it successfully. The support the athletes and their families will get will enable them to have a clearer picture of what they are getting into and what they can achieve if they choose the right school and program.
Rowers Choice Academy Education was created to solve this problem.
We have created a 6 month program for high school students and their parents surrounding the topic of collegiate rowing recruitment. We strive to help athletes reach their potential at the collegiate level while assisting them in the recruitment process. Through classes and individual meetings we will support and teach athletes about the recruitment process and help to introduce them to coaches from the programs that they are interested in. We will help to narrow down the list and help the athletes find the right fit program and University for them.
All learning and interaction is done remotely so that each student can complete the academy from their home, school, or wherever is most convenient for them.

The Academy will provide valuable tools and information to help an athlete and their parents make the right decision when it comes to college. Not every athlete chooses the right college or university for them and we will help to steer and guide the athletes to the best decision for them. We will also determine the best athletic level and decision for each athlete and help them find the right program with the right college or university. The Academy will also teach lifelong skills that will assist athletes in areas not just useful for rowing but for their school and future business careers.
